Razia has a wide range of workshop topics available for belly dancers of all levels. Her workshops can be customized specifically for your event as well. See below for a taste of what Razia has to offer as an instructor!

 

Beginner, Improver or Open Level
 
--3D Drills (my favorite drills/techniques for adding more dimension and depth to basic moves

--Sassy Combos, Razia Style (a sampler of 3 to 4 step-combinations full of style and fun technique)

--American Cabaret Choreography (a classic choreo highlighting the wild, free style of the early American BD scene)
 
 
Intermediate and Advanced Level
 
--Easy Improvisation (a simple, effective approach to get students comfortable improvising with what they know)
--Drum Solo Choreography (a Razia original, full of humor, technique and lots of pizzazz!)
--Zills and Thrills (step combinations and zill patterns to challenge and inspire-- for those with some zill knowledge)
--American Style Veilwork (learn drapes, tucks, turns and tricks and how to create your own beautiful veil routine)
--Unusual Rhythms (dance-based class that covers how to work with odd counts like 6/8, 9/8, 10/8 and more)
--Soulful Taqsim (my approach to creating a powerful taqsim and connecting with your music)
--Opening Number Choreography (an upbeat and eye-catching routine to wow the crowd from your first step)
--Veilwork in a Pinch (new and unusual ways to use your veil, especially good for dancing in small spaces)
--DIY Choreography (how to start breaking down music and ''hearing'' your way into confident choreographing)
--So You Want To Go Pro (lecture-based class approaching the ins, outs and how-tos of being a pro belly dancer)
--Emotional Outreach (how to use gaze, gesture and pose to convey the emotions of your dance beautifully)
